Zep Split Equipment Cleaner is a highly-concentrated, alkaline
cleaner/degreaser especially formulated to allow oils and greases to
rapidly and completely split from the cleaning solution so that it can be
reused. Solid soils drop quickly. No pH adjustment or chemical
additives are required to produce oil separation. Complete oil
separation occurs rapidly in oil/water separators and holding tanks.
The oils may be recovered for disposal and the clean detergent
solution recycled using appropriate purification equipment, if desired,
prior to reuse. Zep Split Equipment Cleaner removes dirt, grime, oils,
lubricants, grease, food soils, and other soils from a variety of
surfaces. At recommended use dilutions, it is non-corrosive to ferrous
metal surfaces and harmless to many paints (test before using), glass,
and plastics.
NOTE: May damage aluminum, zinc (galvanized) and other soft metal
surfaces. Do not use on anodized (mirror finish) aluminum.
